This is a list of the National and International organizations that regulate karting. There are also hundreds of small tracks around the country that do not require membership in a National organization. The benefits of membership are a monthly magazine, standardized insurance and rules at sanctioned tracks.

WKA is the largest organization in the United States. They sanction oval, sprint and enduro competition.
